Niemeyer Christmas

These are pictures of the Christmas at my parents' house. Before everyone got there, the kids wanted to play their new guitars from Memaw and Leeann.

Even Aunt Kerri wanted to try! This guitar "game" is really cool! It actually teaches you how to play the guitar!

It's gift time! Let's open our presents! The kids got a lot of good gifts...as usual!

Megan's big gift from Grandma and Grandpa was a volleyball set. She really likes it...we just need to find out a place to put it!

This year, Andrew asked Santa for a football goal so that he could make field goals and touchdowns like Kyle! He has really taken into football since we've been going to the Abbott's 6 man football games. Their quarterback for this past year is a young man from our church and the kids really look up to him and his family! So, to make a long story shorter...Santa wrote Grandpa this letter and asked Grandpa to help him out with Andrew's gift because he couldn't fit the football goal in the sleigh with all the other gifts. So, Grandpa got to work and made Andrew's gift...yes...a FOOTBALL GOAL!!!! This is Andrew's face when Grandpa brought the goal from behind the shed...do you think he liked it? Just look at his face...it says it all...

Andrew's first kick...

Then everyone tried to kick the ball...here's pictures of Bryce and Megan kicking the ball...we ALL had fun kicking the ball and watching the kids kick the ball toward the goal...Jimmy and Gary even tried...LOL!

Here's Andrew with Grandpa & Grandma AND THE GOAL!

Then Grandpa had to promise to bring the goal to our house the next day and put it in the ground...we did find a permanent place in our yard for a football goal...anyone want to come over for some football?
