Christmas Eve 2008

Here is how the kids and I got ready for Santa's arrival! First, we made homemade oatmeal cookies! Yum yum! The kids really liked to help me by rolling the "balls" in the sugar!


Next, we all sat on the couch and read "The Night Before Christmas" while Daddy took our picture. The kids really love this story! James even got into the story too!

After that the kids wrote their notes for Santa. Andrew even drew a picture of him and Santa on the back!

Next the kids put out the food for the reindeer. Even the reindeer need some goodies! They need a little snack too!

After the kids came back inside, Megan put her stocking close to the fireplace so Santa could see it.

Then Andrew put his and James' stockings next to Megan's! "Do you think Santa will be able to find them, Mommy?" Andrew asked. I said, "Don't you think that Santa will see them if they are by the fireplace?"

Now it's time to put the cookies and milk out for Santa. "Don't forget our notes for Santa, Mommy! Do you think Santa will see my drawing of me and Santa?" I told him Santa would look at the notes and see his wonderful drawing!

Finally it's off to bed so that Santa can come and leave presents!
